Central SC Habitat for Humanity is making life better and revitalizing homes in Cayce and the surrounding areas. Like so many non-profit organizations in the Midlands, the Coronavirus Pandemic has negatively affected their ability to fund raise during this challenging time, including the cancellation of the 2020 “More than a Home” Gala. This event is normally their largest annual fundraiser. To help make up any deficit caused by the loss of our gala, their board has come together to do our first ever “Home for the Holidays” GoFundMe Charity event. 93 cents of every dollar donated to Central SC Habitat goes directly into programs, with only 7 cents going into operations and overhead. We want to help more families like Soso and her three sons. This Lexington, SC family went from living in a homeless shelter to moving into their own home this year! Imagine what their family’s first Christmas in their own home will be like! We want to get more families Home for the Holidays.
