West Columbia Beautification Foundation 4th Annual Tribute for Trees

The West Columbia Beautification Foundation will hold its 4th Annual Tribute for Trees Fundraiser, on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at West Columbia City Hall, 200 N. 12th Street, West Columbia, SC, from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Funds raised at the event will be used to plant trees around the City of West Columbia, beautifying the roadways on Sunset Boulevard and Augusta Highway. (A suggested $200 donation will purchase one tree.)
 
The celebration includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, entertainment by Bob Michalski, the Sax Man, and wine/beer. Meet your elected officials and emcee Joe Pinner. By purchasing a tree, you can personally make a difference in the community. Lexington County Master Gardener Volunteers Plant Sale at the 2018 Fall Midlands Plants and Flower Festival at S,C, State Farmers Market, 3483 Charleston Highway, West Columbia, September 21-23.  Come visit our booth with hundreds of plants- succulents, perennials, shrubbery and small trees. Art in the Garden XII Fundraiser for Mission Lexington

Celebrate with us on Friday, September 21st from 6:30-10:30 pm for our 12th Annual Art in the Garden community fundraiser forMission Lexington (Previously Lexington Interfaith Community Services)!

Enjoy a cool Carolina evening under the stars as Wingard’s is transformed into an “Evening in Chicago” full of great food, beverage, friends, and music from Chicago Rewired, the Premiere Chicago Tribute Band.

Chicago Rewired comprises a unique blend of talented and seasoned musicians joining forces with the common goal of accurately replicating the timeless music of Chicago – the soundtrack to great memories for so many people.

Proceeds from the evening go to Mission Lexington, a local nonprofit organization, which helps those individuals and families in need, in Lexington County.

Food will be provided by Hudson’s Smokehouse, Clara & Ray’s Italiano Ristorante, Chef Drew Thompson’s Shrimp and Grits, Vienna Beef Chicago Style Hotdogs, and The Melting Pot. Beverages will include KW Beverage, Palmetto Wine & Spirits and Pepsi!

Tickets are $40 each which includes dinner, beverages, and entertainment.

National Park trained volunteers point out areas of significance along the trail at the 12,000 Year History Park and tell stories about the Battle of Congaree Creek, Fort Congaree and 18th Century Trade, and Lifeways of Native Americans throughout history.
